Pittsburgh Lace Group

The Pittsburgh Lace Group fosters and promotes interest in all types of lace and lacemaking in Pittsburgh, PA.

Our members meet and exchange ideas and information through programs and workshops. We then provide demonstrations and exhibits to the public in order to educate them about the rich history and techniques of lace and lacemaking.

The Group holds a formal business meeting the first Thursday of most months, where we share news and ideas. Informal classes are held on Thursday afternoons at the Churchill Borough Building in Pittsburgh. Beginner classes are held on the first and third Thursday evenings of some months. There is an annual Lace Day and at least one weekend workshop.
